National Park Mljet is the oldest national park in Croatia.
The Park was given this status due to its outstanding cultural and historical heritage that goes back to the times of Illyrian tribes, Roman Empire and Dubrovnik Republic. But for this status the most credited are its “salty-sweet” lakes, lush vegetation and unique panoramic landscape of indented coastlines, cliffs, reefs and numerous isles and rich, always green vegetation of the surrounding hills that rise steeply above the sea and hide numerous karst fields and ancient stone villages. In the middle of the Great lake is a natural, cultural-historical and tourist delicacy – the picturesque isle of Saint Mary with the church and the Benedictine monastery dating from the 12th century. The isle, dues due to its exceptional aesthetic image and strong cultural and spiritual dimensions, represents the symbol of the island and the National Park Mljet. This island is really the right choice for exploring and sightseeing the beauties of Croatian islands and their coasts. Dive into the island of Mljet, into the forests of its parks, into its lakes and become, at least for one day, a part of the island.

Itinerary
Departure time is at 09:00, when the clients will be picked up outside the hotel they are staying in and transported to the boat anchored in the marina Orsan. In less than 2 hours ride we will arrive to the village Polače on the island of Mljet where the clients, after buying the entrance tickets for the National Park Mljet can go for a visit. Upon arrivalthere is also time for lunch until 16:15, when we should go back. The foreseen return to the town of Dubrovnik is by 18:00.
